I was very interested in Robert Cross’ article about the air tour controversy at the Grand Canyon (Main news, Jan. 12).
There is a simple solution to the conflicting goals–use a dirigible. New, very quiet, very comfortable and very slow airships are being developed by the Zeppelin company in Germany. This situation would be an ideal application!
