Barbara Sullivan’s glowing review of the McCormick Place South Building (“One giant welcome mat,” Business, Jan. 12) fails to explore the project’s most amazing “feature,” which is the staggering cost of $804 per square foot. I’d sure like to see a breakdown of this cost and comparison to similar facilities in a follow-up article.
