In its Jan. 12 issue, WomaNews published a list of hospitals equipped with emergency rooms specifically for children and those with pediatric-equipped emergency rooms.
Many hospitals that should have been on the list were left off and some listed as having only pediatric-equipped emergency rooms in fact have emergency rooms designed for children.
WomaNews apologizes for these omissions. We did our best to find emergency rooms offering pediatric services. If any hospital remains missing, we apologize.
Following is an amended list of hospitals with children’s emergency rooms and those with pediatric-equipped emergency rooms.
