Birthday: July 22, 1963.
Birthplace: Norfolk, Va., the navy base.
Occupation: Actor.
Current home: Santa Monica, Calif.
Marital status: Married to Josie Bissett for four years.
Car: A silver 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Working on: I play Kyle McBride on “Melrose Place” on Fox-TV and I’ve been doing “The Rose Tattoo” on the stage in Los Angeles.
Favorite pigout foods: Sushi, pizza washed down with beer, mint chocolate-chip cookie dough ice cream and marshmallow treats.
Favorite childhood memory: The smell of freshly cut grass at 7 in the morning as I walked from my house to the football field on the weekends to play football.
Prized possession: My guitar.
Personal hero: My father. He had a very loving, open outlook on the world. I thought he was perfect.
I wish I could stop: The world. There are some things that need changing.
I’ve never been able to: Dress myself.
If I could do it over I: Would have paid attention in school, so I wouldn’t have to catch up on things now that I should have learned then. And I would have paid more attention to internal forces than external ones.
I’d give anything to meet: Rob Reiner. He’s a fantastic director and I sense that he knows people really well.
My fantasy is: I’m the father of five and we’re all in France and I’m directing a giant movie starring Al Pacino, Chris Walken and Glenn Close, and my wife and I have a small part in it.
The best time of my life: Falling in love with my wife.
If I wasn’t an actor, I’d be: A really scary human being. I need a place where I can creatively, constructively vent a lot of the things I have inside me.
If I’ve learned one thing in life it’s: The goodies don’t come from the outside, but the inside.
Three words that best describe me: Honest, open and confused.
