What a beautiful tribute to Ardis Krainik by John von Rhein (Jan. 26).
I knew Ardis as a fellow church musician, and was not fully aware of the significance of all her contributions to Lyric Opera. I was impressed by the naming of the Opera House in her honor; now that I have read Mr. von Rhein’s tribute to her. I can see that the honor was fully merited.
Thank you for a fascinating and moving “fond farewell.”
