The Chicago City Council Economic and Capital Development Committee will meet to discuss a proposed ordinance to designate the area around Kedzie Avenue and Irving Park Road as an economic redevelopment area. Ald. Bernard Hansen (44th) also will discuss similar plans for the area near Armitage Avenue and California Boulevard.
