Poet Allen Ginsberg, who epitomized America’s beat literary movement in the 1950s and ’60s, has untreatable liver cancer, a spokesman said Thursday. The 70-year-old Ginsberg is expected to live between four and 12 months, according to a statement written by his physician, Dr. David Chain of Beth Israel Medical Center. Ginsberg’s cancer is incurable, the statement said.
