Maurice Bender, 65, among the country’s top insurance agents, died Tuesday at his Northbrook home. Mr. Bender, who served with the Army in Korea, was a senior associate with Greater Chicago Group and was a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable honoring the nation’s top life-insurance agents. A lifelong area resident, Mr. Bender is survived by his wife, Beverly; two sons, Sheldon and Arnold; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
