Rev. Bernard Scheid, 83, who served the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago for 61 years in churches throughout the area, died April 25 in All Saints-St. Anthony rectory. Father Scheid was pastor of St. Kevin Church from 1967 to 1983 and also served at St. Mel, St. Frances de Sales, All Saints-St. Anthony and Sacred Heart. “He did so much for so many people,” said his brother, Dr. John Scheid. Other survivors include a sister. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in All Saints-St. Anthony Church, 28th Place and Wallace Street, Chicago.
