Meet Mexican figurative artist Aida Edmart at Bucktown’s Casa Loca (1130 N. Milwaukee Ave.) when she comes to attend the opening of an exhibition of her work at 6 p.m. Friday. Edmart’s appearance will co-incide with the Bucktown/Wicker Park area’s Interiors on the Edge all-weekend-long walking tours, during which shoppers can use a map to explore neighborhood shops, galleries and restaurants – and in some cases, enjoy free cutting edge eats.
