So ComEd is warning of “rolling blackouts” this summer. Would this be the case if they had won their battle to continue their monopoly? I doubt it. For more than 30 years ComEd’s customers have paid exorbitant rates for electricity that was promised to be “too cheap to meter.” Now for our money we have a utility apparently more interested in revenge than serving its customers.
