Regarding Bill Gershon’s letter (“Radio days,” Voice, July 22) embellishing some of the information in the delightful feature story on WNIB-FM by Barbara Mahany (Tempo, June 23):
The “secrets” he revealed about WNIB’s early days as a classical music station are all true–except for the dates (no doubt a misprint). Classical programming began on WNIB on Sept. 23, 1955, not 1995!
