Robert Terry, 59, of Northbrook, former manager of Sheridan Beverage Co., died on Thursday of cancer at the Glenbrook Hospital. Mr. Terry worked for 35 years for Sheridan Beverage Co., a family business started by his grandfather and later run by his father. He entered the University of Illinois in 1956, but quit three years later in order to help his father. “He . . . later (became) the company’s manager, until 1991 when he retired,” said his wife, Merle. During the time he worked as the company’s manager, he provided food for homeless shelters. Other survivors include his son, Stan; two daughters, Jill and Susan; two stepsons, Larry and Todd; a stepdaughter, Karyn; his mother, Sara; father, Sam; two sisters and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
