The Village Council is expected to vote this week on a new 12-year agreement with Media One, the village’s cable television franchise holder. The deal with Media One could add 22 channels by 2000, including two new local access channels, village cable coordinator Douglas Kozlowski has told the council. The company is promising speedier response to calls and complaints and it also plans a villagewide system upgrade to fiber-optic lines that will improve reception and allow for two-way interactive cable.
