Preconstruction sales are under way for the second phase at The Sexton, a landmark building at 360 W. Illinois St. in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
The Sexton will include 76 lofts in the concrete portion of the structure, 159 lofts in the adjoining timber building, and 17 newly constructed townhouses on its perimeter.
The lofts in the concrete structure, built in the 1920s, range from 1,080 to 2,287 square feet and are priced from $143,900 to $428,000. The floor plans include two or three bedrooms and one or two baths
Each unit will include vaulted ceilings, hardwood and carpeted floors, gas fireplace and kitchen island with cooktop. Bath amenities include a six-foot soaking tub and separate shower. The building will feature valet dry cleaning and a private courtyard.
The Sexton sales office is open 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

– Two multiple property auctions on Saturday, Aug. 23, and Sunday, Aug.24, will be conducted by Rick Levin & Associates Inc.
The Aug. 23 auction, to take place at 1 p.m. at The Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, will feature four townhouses at Oak Creek Villas in Genoa.
The townhouses have two or three bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. Originally priced to $113,900, they have suggested opening bids of $35,000. Two will be sold absolute, regardless of price.

Open houses are scheduled fro 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday and Aug. 9, 10, 16, 17 and 23, and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 13 and 20.
Eight single-family homes at the Charrington subdivision in Frankfort will also be on the auction block Aug. 24. Originally priced to $399,000, they have suggested opening bids of $125,000. Two of those homes will be sold absolute.

– Ten homes–including three models–remain available for sale at McKenzie Station in downtown Lisle, a Ryland Homes development of 98 townhouses approaching closeout.

– Fox Bend of Shorewood in southwest suburban Will County, a community of 156 single-family homes priced from $129,900 to $176,900, has a new design available.
The Keswick is one of three new flexible floor plans added to the lineup at Fox Bend.
Priced from $142,900, the standard Keswick is a 1,642-square-foot, trilevel design with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
