Due to the completion of Phase 2 of the Crystal Lake Public Library’s expansion and renovation project, the library will be closed Sunday through Aug. 24 to move into the renovated lower level.
The loan period on materials will be extended to cover the time the library is closed, and neighboring libraries will honor Crystal Lake’s library cards.
Outdoor book drops will remain open to facilitate return of materials.
Because of the closure, all books read for the Summer Reading Programs must be recorded at the library by 5 p.m. Saturday.
Upon reopening, all services except Youth Services will be temporarily on the lower level.
