Concerning the proposal of Sen. Lauch Faircloth (R-N.C.) to remove all games from more than a million federally owned computers and block purchases of computers that have built-in games (Main news, Aug. 4), I think the good senator entirely misses the point. A minute spent playing solitaire is one less minute that a bureaucrat can spend thinking of new ways to regulate us.
If anything, we should only allow computers with lots of games to be used by federal workers.
