William H. Patton, 72, a retired salesman for Hair Performers Salons, died Aug. 1 in Resurrection Hospital. Mr. Patton was a third cousin to Army Gen. George Patton and was a sergeant in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He was in the Navy from 1946-51. Mr. Patton was a native of Hardbury, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Michael and James; three sisters; and a granddaughter. Services were held Wednesday.
