Jeffrey G. Emrich, 55, of Edison Park, formerly a longtime resident of Park Ridge, died Sunday. Mr. Emrich was the president of the computer consulting firm J.G. Emrich & Associates. He was born in Chicago. Mr. Emrich was a graduate of Northwestern University. He received a master’s degree in business administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Emrich was a former professor of computer science at North Central College and Oakton Community College in Des Plaines. Survivors include his son, Scott; two daughters, Sheryl and Renee O’Connell; his mother, Marjorie Walden; a brother; a sister; and a grandchild. Services were held Thursday.
