The Garfield Farm Museum, a non-profit 1840s farm and inn in LaFox in Kane County, will hold the Heirloom Garden Show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 24.
Visitors will be able to view, taste or buy old varieties of vegetables, fruits, native plants and antique flowers. You can order seeds to grow these rare plants. Orders can be placed for a variety of old-style roses. Donations are $5 for adults and $1 for children under 14.
