Thomas “Tommie” Lowe, of Chicago, died Friday at his home. Born in Fulton, Tenn., he later lived in Hopkinsville, Ky., and finally Chicago. Mr. Lowe was a retired salesman for Beatrice Foods in Elgin. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served on the USS Bunker Hill during World War II. Survivors include a son, Ronald; a daughter, Patricia; and two grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Belmont Funeral Home, 7120 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago. Mass will be said on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Elmwood Park Methodist Church, 3000 N. 77th Ct., Elmwood Park.
