Charlene E. Ames, 71, of Montgomery, died Sunday in Rush-Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora. Mrs. Ames was formerly employed as a secretary by the Oswego School District 308. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, James A.; two sons, Timothy and Scott; a daughter, Elizabeth; a sister; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway St., Aurora.
