Eva M. Gemmel, 68, a 40-year resident of Algonquin, died Friday at her home. She was a retired machine operator who worked at Revcor in Carpentersville for 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Harry; a son, Jerry Behrens Jr.; four daughters, Judy Sorenson, Debra Michaelis, Beverly Webb and Barbara Taube; her mother, Goldie McBride; three brothers; three sisters; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Rd., Cary.
