Lucy Mae Mitchell, 75, of Aurora, died Sunday in Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora. Born in Holly Springs, Miss., Mrs. Mitchell was a founding member of The Love of God M.B. Church where she served as a church mother. Survivors include four daughters, Mattie Crump-Nailor, Maggie Brown, Delores and Marie; five sons, Charles, Willie, Johnnie, George and Jerry; 16 grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Gayles Memorial Baptist Church, 730 Gillette Ave., Aurora. Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the church.
