In “Quotables” (Op-Ed, Aug. 26), we read that someone sent a check to pay for a rabbit’s “internment” in a pet cemetery. Too bad the bunny was dead, as an “internment” (confinement, as during war) might have ended, eventually, and it would have been released.

What the word should have been was “interment,” meaning burial of a dead body!
