Violet E. Rentin, 68, of Harvard died Wednesday in Harvard Memorial Hospital. She worked at Arnold Engineering in Marengo for 21 years. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Morris and Bradley; two daughters, Melody Kizer and Crystal Mathews; her mother, Florence Whaples; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
