Alice J. Weiss, 83, a native of Chicago, died Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Retirement Home in Chicago. She worked for 25 years at Borg Scale Co. in Chicago, where she was the company’s first union steward. Survivors include two brothers and two sisters. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 932 N. Kostner Ave., Chicago.
