James Everett Conn Schmidt, 18, died Tuesday in Arlington Heights. Born in Des Plaines, Mr. Schmidt was a lifelong resident of Arlington Heights. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Schmidt; his birth father, Jesse J. Conn; his birth mother, Kimberly A. Conn; his grandparents, Joy and Jim Lehto; and one brother. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2035 N. Windsor Drive, Arlington Heights.
