Jean M. McDermand, 86, a longtime Winnetka resident died Friday in the Whitehall Nursing Center, Deerfield. Mrs. McDermand attended Wellesley College. She was a member of the Winnetka Junior League and the Cradle Society for many years. Mrs. McDermand is survived by her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Margaret Raub; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Kenilworth Union Church, 211 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth.
