John Denis O’Brien, 57, a longtime Oak Lawn resident, died Saturday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn after a long illness. Mr. O’Brien, a native of Evergreen Park, graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep High School in Chicago before attending the Illinois Institute of Technology. He joined Motorola, Inc. in 1965 as an electrical engineer and worked there for more than 20 years in the automotive division, according to his wife, Danielle. Mr. O’Brien is also survived by two daughters, Ann Clare Tarinelli and Eileen Denise Glowacki; his mother, Ruth; and a grandchild. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home at 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said Wednesday at 10 a.m. St. Linus Church, 103rd Street and Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn.
