Hazel E. Brecht, 86, of Elmhurst, a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Elmhurst since 1949, died Wednesday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. She was a member of the Lutheran Seminary Guild. Mrs. Brecht is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roma; two sons, Richard and Dale E.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 314 W. Vallette St., Elmhurst.
