Police said the granddaughter of a 90-year-old woman living in St. Patrick’s Residence, a nursing home at 1400 Brookdale Rd., discovered Wednesday that two rings and a pair of reading glasses had been taken from her grandmother. Police said the theft of the items, which have an estimated value of $70, may have occurred as far back as July. Staff at the nursing home told police the theft is the third such incident discovered at the center in as many days. Information on the first two incidents was unavailable.
