“Click” (11:30 a.m. – all times are Central Time – Saturdays on UPN). Six kids ages 13 to 16 compete for big prizes by answering questions on entertainment, sports, math, science, literature, history and current events. It’s about time kids got a new game show.

“413 Hope Street” (8 p.m. Thursdays on Fox). If you’re into heavy drama, check out this show about a New York teen crisis center.

“Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict” (Saturdays, starting Oct. 18, on WGN; check local listings for times). This sci-fi show is based on an idea from the late creator of “Star Trek.” A Midwestern city is the center for the arrival of aliens who might not be as friendly as they seem.

“The Gregory Hines Show” (8 p.m. Fridays on CBS). Starring dancer-actor Gregory Hines, this is about a widower who’s devoted to his 12-year-old son. The laughs supposedly kick in when the uncool dad tries dating and goes for hip advice from his kid.

“Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” (Saturdays, starting Sept. 27, on UPN; check your local listings for times). Yep, it’s a series based on the Disney hit flicks in which a nutty scientist dad accidentally shrinks his kids. Loads of opportunities for riding Matchbox cars and running from oversized insects.

“Meego” (7:30 p.m. Fridays on CBS). A 9,250-year-old extraterrestrial crashes to Earth and finds a job as a nanny to a single dad’s three kids. Sounds kinda lame, but the three cute kids – Will Estes, Michelle Trachtenberg and Jonathan Lipnicki – might make it worth tuning in.

“The Tony Danza Show”(7 p.m. Wednesdays, on NBC). Single-dad alert: This time it’s Tony Danza as a sportswriter who has two young daughters – and one of them is a hypochondriac. Does TV need a whiny daughter? Why not … if she’s funny.

“Teen Angel” (8:30 p.m. Fridays on ABC). Teenager Marty dies from eating a rotten hamburger, but he comes back from the grave as an angel to keep best friend Steve company. A funny show about a guardian angel? We have to see it to believe it.

“The Visitor” (7 p.m. Fridays on Fox). A pilot gets captured by aliens who teach him how to mess with people’s brains. Now his powers are so valuable the U.S. government and the aliens he escaped are looking for him. Sounds like “The Fugitive” meets “The Profiler,” which could be pretty cool.

“The Weird Al Show” (10:30 a.m. Saturdays on CBS). Spoofman Weird Al Yankovic has this secret workshop where crazy things happen (remember “Pee Wee’s Playhouse”?). The wackiness is aimed at teaching kids to respect each other. Celeb guests, song parodies and lots of humor should keep this from being too preachy.
