Gerald W. Hilbruner, 59, of Downers Grove died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Mr. Hilbruner retired seven years ago after working at the Western Electric Co. plant in Cicero for 35 years. He lived in Downers Grove for 22 years. Survivors include his wife, Diana; two sons, Jeffrey and Joseph; a sister; and two brothers. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Scholastica Catholic Church, 7800 Janes Ave., Woodridge.
