Florence W. Rosenberg, 85, of Lincolnshire, died Sunday in The Wealshire in Lincolnshire. A native of Chicago, Mrs. Rosenberg also lived in Hallandale, Fla., for 17 years. In 1951, after a close friend died from breast cancer, Mrs. Rosenberg founded the Lolly Coustan Memorial Fund to raise funds for the University of Chicago Cancer Research. She also was active in the Esther Clammage Auxiliary for the Jewish Children’s Bureau and the South Side Hebrew Congregation and Temple Sholom. Survivors include two daughters, Lois Gordon and Charlene Podolsky; a sister; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral was Monday.
