Loretta H. Byrnes, 86, a longtime Elmhurst resident, died Tuesday in her daughter’s Wadsworth home. Mrs. Byrnes, a homemaker, recently had moved to Illinois from Las Vegas. Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Jehlicka; two sons, Robert and Thomas; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 134 Arthur St., Elmhurst.
