Josephine K. Smith, 88, a 25-year resident of Villa Park, and formerly a longtime resident of Lombard, died Friday in Parkway Healthcare Center in Wheaton. Survivors include a son, Ted; two daughters, Diane Ashland and Dawn Knill; a sister; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
