Choosing a college or university is a tough decision for high school students, so McHenry County College is trying to ease the pain with College Night ’97.

Students and their parents can talk to representatives from dozens of midwest colleges and universities.

Free information packets about the schools and financial aid are available at each table, and some colleges will offer weekend visits for high school seniors and juniors.

Representatives from the U.S. military also will be on hand to answer questions.

The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Building A at the college, 8900 U.S. Highway 14.
