There is every reason to believe that a forum being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Wheaton for Wheaton Warrenville District 200 school board candidates will be a quiet, informative session where civility will prevail.
But, then again, this is the district where most of the school board races already have been decided by petition challenges rather than votes and where parents of students at the Johnson Elementary School have taken a less-than-friendly view of the school board and its administration because of air quality problems at the Warrenville school.
