A 19-year-old Markham woman was arrested for hitting the driver of another car that tried to go ahead of her car at the drive-through lane of McDonald’s, 5441 W. 159th St., Wednesday, police said. Chequila Gethers of 16149 S. Paulina Ave. was the passenger of a car that had pulled into the drive-through lane from the west entrance, when a truck entering from the east apparently approached the drive-through about the same time, police said. After the occupants of both vehicles quarreled, Gethers allegedly got out of her vehicle, walked over to the truck, opened the door and hit the driver, police said. She was charged with battery and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.
