Sherri Townsend, 26, of 305 W. 154th St., Harvey, was arrested for attempting to cash someone else’s $650 check at Grand National Bank, 16300 S. Harlem Ave., Saturday, police said. She was charged with deceptive practice and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 26.
