Bogdan S. Fabrycy, 82, of Elgin, formerly of Somerset, Ky., and a 22-year resident of Barrington, died Tuesday in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Elgin. Born in Kielce, Poland, Mr. Fabrycy served in the Polish army with the Allied Forces until the end of World War II. He immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled in Barrington, where he worked for the Jewel Tea Co. for 22 years. He spent his retirement years in Somerset. Survivors include three daughters, Helena, Irene Johnson and Marianne Parker; four sons, Bogdan “Bo,” Kurt, Richard and Victor; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Barrington United Methodist Church, 311 S. Hough St., Barrington.
