Robert L. Ryan Sr., 68, owner of the communication company R. Ryan and Associates and a longtime Lansing resident, died Friday in The Community Hospital, Munster, Ind. Mr. Ryan was an employee of Illinois Bell Telephone Co. for 35 years. Mr. Ryan graduated from Marmion Military Academy and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was also the past commander of the Lansing American Legion Post 697. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; two sons, Patrick and Robert; and two sisters. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing.
