Trial time: Jury selection began in the trial of Unabomber suspect Theodore J. Kaczynski Wednesday. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Kaczynski, who is charged in four bomb-ings and two deaths.
Terrorists guilty: Two men were convicted Wednesday of conspiracy in the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. Ramzi Yousef and Eyad Ismoil were convicted of plotting the bombing, which killed six people and injured more than 1,000.
Lost and found: “Princess Jasmine” went to a foster family Wednesday. The newborn had been cared for in a Florida hospital after being found abandoned in a Walt Disney World toilet. Jasmine, named for the “Aladdin” character, will be eligible for adoption if her parents don’t come forward in two months; bunches of people have called asking to adopt her.
