Tribune Education, a division of Chicago-based Tribune Co., has agreed to purchase an 80 percent stake of Ohio-based Landoll Inc., for about $80 million. Landoll publishes a wide variety of children’s books for the mass market, including education books, coloring books, story books and puzzles. The items are sold in more than 150,000 retail outlets, including Kmart, Wal-Mart and Target.
