Thaddeus “Ted” S. Micek, 73, a resident of Arlington Heights, formerly of Chicago, died Monday in his home. Mr. Micek, who was born in Chicago, was a navigator in the Pacific Theater during World War II and a retired printer who had worked for Revere Printing and Paddock Publications for more than 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela A. Schneider and Wendy Shaukat; a son, Michael S.; two sisters; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, followed by mass at 11 a.m. in St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
