Mary Lou Mrozynski, 58, an educator at many schools within the Archdiocese of Chicago and former principal of Brighton Park Elementary School, died of cancer Monday in Hinsdale Hospital. The Berwyn resident began her teaching career at Mother McAuley High School in 1964 and later worked in several other schools. Friends said she taught topics in the 1960s and 1970s, including social justice, sexuality and multicultural history, that were controversial for the times. There are no immediate survivors. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in Ascension Church, 815 S. East Ave, Oak Park.
