A 49-year-old transient from California was arrested last week and charged with deceptive practice and possessing stolen credit cards. A local dentist reported to police he had just treated Mark Warner as a patient and that Warner had paid him with an out-of-state check written on a closed account. Police arrested Warner at a local pharmacy and discovered he had credit cards and a phone card that had been reported stolen, authorities said.
