USG Corp. agreed to buy a Canadian gypsum-panel plant from Louisiana-Pacific Corp. for undisclosed terms, marking Louisiana-Pacific’s exit from that business. The plant, in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, employs about 85 people. The sale will be handled through Chicago-based USG’s Canadian subsidiary and is expected to be completed by the end of the year, the building-materials companies said.
