Emily A. Ackermann, 79, of Mt. Prospect died Thursday in Glenbridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Niles. She was born in Chicago. Mrs. Ackermann was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Roger and Scott; two daughters, Donna Caponi and Louise Dvorak; three sisters; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
